Sunday was a very hard day, but a very wonderful at the same time. Jason and Chuck preached a sermon honoring my dad. They talked about how my dad loves God and love people and how we all need to learn from his example. They did a fan.tast.ic job!
(Thank guys for honoring my dad in such an amazing way).
After many tearful goodbyes were said we went out to eat with Auny Shanny (my dad's cousin who is more like a sister to him) and some of her family. This was by far one of my dad's hardest goodbyes. These two have a connection not many cousins have. My prayer is that one day my kids will have a relationship with their cousins like my dad and Auny Shan have.
After lunch we headed to home to keep packing. Leslie and Grace stopped by for a little while, then Leslie went home and put Grace to bed and headed back to hang out late into the night that included a trip to Walmart. It was a MUCH needed visit!

Cael sitting on Poppy's bench. (man that makes me sad)

Cael and Hazel. We think they are 4th cousins. She is my 3rd cousins child, we really don't know what that would make them. And as usual, Cael wants nothing to do with having his picture taken with other little ones.

Grace...she is SO beautiful. Just look at that face.
Here is Leslie and her signed box. It made late night packing so much more fun! Leslie is one of my best friends from home and my life is better because she is apart of it. I LOVE HER!!!
I wish I would have taken more picture during the day at church but I just didn't feel comfortable snapping away. It was a great day and my dad walked away feeling very loved by the people at Rounlake. Thanks for a great 17 years our dear Roundlake friends!!!
